Sergei in the Urn, will be released on DVD on 23 May 2014. With German, English and French subtitles, DVD with numerous extras such as an alternative beginning, the laboratory research of 1933 and the “Eugen, the fiddle and the resistance” and “Idea and construction of the laser scalpel” sequences, etc.
German Cinema Release!
Starting on February 23rd, 2012, SERGEJ IN THE URN will be screened in the following cities & cinemas: Berlin (Moviemento, Krokodil, Filmkunst66, Babylon Mitte), Bonn (Neue Filmbühne), Köln (ODEON), Frankfurt (Mal seh'n Kino), München (Monopol). In March the documentary will be also screened in Herrsching (Breitwand), Hannover (Künstlerhaus), Lüneburg (Skala), Magdeburg (Moritzhof), Leipzig (Schauburg), Stuttgart (Atelier im Bollwerk).
February 11th, 2012: Preview in Dortmund
SERGEJ IN THE URN fascinated the audience as well as media designers at its preview in
Cologne. Therefore, the design department of Dortmund's University of Applied Sciences
and Arts will present a preview of SERGEJ IN THE URN as closing event of its exhibition
"Schauraum 6". Saturday, February 11th, 2012, 7 pm. The German cinema
release of SERGEJ IN THE URN will be on February 23rd, 2012.

German cinema release for Sergej in the Urn!
On February 23rd, 2012, the documentary will be opened in selected theaters in Germany. Liquid Blues Production is happy to announce the cooperation with the Bonn based film distribution „Film Kino Text“. The preview is on Wednesday, January 18th 2012, 8 pm at cinema ODEON in Cologne (Severinstraße 81, 50678 Köln, tickets: 0221/31 31 10). The director will be present. More screening dates soon.

Awesome news from Biarritz/South of France: SERGEJ IN DER URNE has been selected for competition in the Creative Documentary and Essay Section of the 24th FIPA (International Festival of Audiovisual Programs), which will be held in Biarritz from January 24th to 30th 2011.

SERGEJ IN THE URN AWARDED AS BEST GERMAN LANGUAGE DOCUMENTARY
We are delighted to announce that SERGEJ IN THE URN received a prize at the 25th International Documentary Film Festival in Munich. The film was selected for the festival's new competition of German language films and won the BLM Film Award 2010 of the Bavarian Authority for Private Broadcasting on May 11th, 2010. The jury consisted of Ingo Fliess, Amelie von Kienlin, Katrin Rothe, Martin Thau and Gerhard Wissner Ventura. Auf dem Festival „achtung berlin – new berlin film award“ hat der Dokumentarfilm seine Deutschlandpremiere. Er ist am Dienstag, den 20. April 2010, um 18 Uhr im Kino Babylon in Berlin Mitte zu sehen.
